Anyone else think religion is obsolete?

Religion is a myth. A myth is a story made up to explain the unexplainable. Now we have science that disproves all of the stories, so do we need religion anymore? Pretty much every theist is sort of being ignorant that their religions have been proven wrong. Why is it that the humans ego is so big they have to imagine a false afterlife to make themselves feel above other animals? We are just animals. We die, nothing happens. Does anyone else agree with me here?
